For many men, a wrist watch has long been a staple fashion accessory. But if you want a watch that does much more than tell time and look good on your wrist, you definitely should be wearing a smartwatch.
The new generation of smart watches add the functionality of a smartphone to your wrist, helping you answer calls, text, snap pictures, and interact with the apps on your Android or iPhone device. And by combining sophisticated sensors and a GPS, smart watches can also help you monitor your health by tracking heart rate and physical activity.
All of this is made possible utilizing a wireless connection between the smartwatch’s microprocessor and your Android or iOS device. In other words, a smartwatch is essentially a micro computer that wirelessly connects to your smartphone, tablet, or laptop.
Here are several of the best smartwatch choices available right now for less than $300.

Today’s seniors are more active today than ever, and many of them are using cell phones to stay in touch with family and friends.
But technology costs money, and many of today’s seniors are looking for cell phone plans that not only fit their lifestyle and needs, but are also affordable.
According to Seniortech’s Guide to Cell Phone Plans for Seniors, seniors who are looking into cell phone plans should look at the basic plans, which cover only the simplest functions like texts and talk time minutes. Unlike plans designed for smartphone users, some basic plans don't come …
Is there a simple cell phone for seniors in Canada?
Posted by jill_roberta
Okay, I'm not a senior, and I don't live in Canada, but I use Virgin Mobile. I know, it really isn't a cell phone company, but it works well, and it's cheap. It's a prepaid plan, no strings, no major up front payments, just $20 every 3 months, minutes are 18 cents (they come out of the $20 prepaid) and I believe they have free phones from their website. Since I live in the US, I go to www.virginmobileusa.com but I'm not sure about Canada. Hope this helps a bit. Goodluck!
Should I get the T-Mobile plan?
Okay I really want to get a plan with texting, but I have to pay for it all myself so I need to make sure I'm getting the best deal. I currently have a AT&T plan and I really like them, but if I want to get texting and stay in my price range I would have to get the senior plan and put it under my Grandma's name. Now that sounds okay but it doesn't include any rollover minutes and it's still a bit pricey. Well I was looking at different cell phone providers and I came across T-mobile. I would be saving around $10 and get 100 more minutes(which i really don't need but they don't like to make low minute plans :[) but I don't think it includes rollover minutes either. Also I don't know anybody who has T-Mobile so I don't know how trustworthy they are. Everyone I know has AT&T or Verizon. Does anyone out there have T-Mobile or know if their plans are good? Do they get good reception? Please help. If you have any other suggestions let me know!

You should probably get the cell phone provider that most of your friends have…I know with ATT it's unlimited texting and calling to people within the network…and I do believe it's that way with Verizon as well. Depends on where you live for Tmobile.
